A long established kennel of Beagles based on the Dialynne breeding, Buttermere has made a name for itself in the hounds that we have bred continuing with its good type, being sound and having good temperaments and heads. We have also owned and shown Petit Basset Griffon Vendeens and miniature Long-Haired Dachshunds.

Barleycorn won Best Bitch at Crufts in 1989. She was the dam of Int.Ch. & Eng.Ch. Buttermere Clansman of Dialynne who sired the top winning Beagle Ch. Dialynne Augustus. Barleycorn features on the pedigrees of many top winning beagles.

One of our favorite memories of Barleycorn was seeing her showing in the veteran classes and winning many Best Veteran in Show awards.

Litter sister to Barleycorn and owned by Jane Millar in Australia, Semeru kennel. She was made up into an Australian Champion and she also bred Championship winning stock for Jane.

Made up by the world famous Dialynne Kennel. Clansman sired Ch. Dialynne Augustus and was used at stud by many top winning Kennels before being exported to Belgium to gain his International title.

Treasure was one of the many Champions sired by Soloman. She was a consistant winner throughout her show career.

She sadly passed away in 1998 at the young age of five years but many of her attributes have been passed on to her progeny.
