The Buttermere Kennel was established in the early eighties. Prior to this Colin owned the affix Babblebrook for a number of years. We are a small kennel showing and breeding stock that are sound, of good breed type, size and quality, having good heads and temperaments and winning consistently in the show ring.

Colin is an International Championship show judge of Beagles and Bloodhounds, also Green Stars in Beagles, Basenjis, Deerhounds and all coats of Dachshunds. Colin Judges B.I.S. varieties and all groups at open show level and is available to judge in the UK and abroad.

Denise judges Beagles and hounds at Open Show level and daughter Kay also judges Beagles in the UK.
